Domestic Violence Awareness Raising including digital abuse

The session will provide basic awareness and understanding around the issues associated with domestic violence and abuse. Participants will gain an understanding of the dynamics within an abusive relationship and will also gain an awareness of the various support services available.

Participants will also learn how perpetrators use digital technology to continue to abuse and control. It is extremely important that professionals working with people experiencing domestic abuse have an understanding and an awareness of how technology can be used by perpetrators. Participants will learn how technology can be misused and how victims/survivors can use technology in a safer way.

This training is free to attend and open to professionals working in the statutory, voluntary and community sectors within the Belfast area.  Places are limited and must be booked in advance.  To book a place please email  – Jill.McMillan@belfasttrust.hscni.net
